Limitations

Does it check if linked pages return 404?

The tool analyses link patterns in the HTML. It does not make outbound HTTP requests to each link URL due to browser CORS restrictions. Use a server-side link checker for full 404 checking.

What does Link Checker check?

It produces an internal and external link count report. Links without descriptive text are flagged as warnings.

Does this replace Google Search Console?
