Browser-processed content
When a tool processes content in your browser, the site does not upload that content through the tool. There is no server copy for OnlineTextLab to delete.
You can clear local browser storage, downloads, or clipboard data using your device and browser controls.
Server-uploaded files
For optional server processing, uploaded files are temporary. The interface must show the file name, file size, upload time, and automatic deletion time after upload.
The interface must also provide a Delete uploaded file now button so the temporary object can be removed before the 1-hour retention window ends.
Automatic deletion
Temporary server files are designed to expire within 1 hour. Cleanup jobs remove expired objects and update metadata records to show that the job is deleted or expired.
Metadata may remain briefly for operational integrity, abuse prevention, or troubleshooting, but it must not contain file contents.
Deletion concerns
For deletion questions, contact [email protected] with the job identifier if you have one. Do not send the original file unless specifically requested.
OnlineTextLab will review deletion concerns and respond with the information available from temporary job metadata.
